What is CBD

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a chemical found in marijuana however it does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) the component that causes the "high" feeling when using marijuana.

CBD does not intentionally  contain marijuana. CBD is a compound found in marijuana and during the extraction process it removes the THC that causes the "high" effects from marijuana.  Because CBD is a compound from marijuana, we cannot say CBD products are 100% marijuana free. It is possible  that CBD products may contain 0.3% of THC.

CBD  at this time cannot be rated for any condition other than epilepsy. However CBD is a central nervous system depressant so it can make you drowsy. While research is ongoing with CBD, it is used in treatment for cancer, hepatitis, Parkinson's, diabetes, pain management, and some psychiatric disorders.
